About Miriam

Miriam J. Robbins has been instructing and lecturing since 2005 to various groups in the Inland Northwest. She has been interested in her family history since she was a young girl, living in Southeast Alaska, far from her extended family in Western Michigan. In 1987, she began her genealogy research.

Ten years later, she was successful in reuniting her paternal grandmother--an adoptee--with her biological family. Miriam writes an award-winning genealogy blog, AnceStories: The Stories of My Ancestors, and keeps busy adding links to her Online Historical Directories and Online Historical Newspapers websites. When not chasing dead people, she crochets, gardens, and bicycles.

If you would like Miriam to make a presentation to your group or would like to see her list of topics, please contact her.
