She's every bit as beautiful as this photograph--taken this summer by her cousin--portrays. Most importantly, she's as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. She'll observe her special day by opening a few family gifts at home before going over to her boyfriend's parents' place (the "in-laws", as I like to tease her), who've graciously opened up their full basement as the venue for her and 20-some friends to celebrate her milestone with her. Here's to a blessed and wondrous adulthood, as she finds her place in this world.
