I always get up late in the morning and most of the time I end up rushing just to catch up my schedule.Caitlinhttp://www.campingincalifornia.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38696983.post-50085217098048235302010-06-27T20:36:14.874-07:002010-06-27T20:36:14.874-07:00Jennifer, you're sure to have the time of your...Jennifer, you're sure to have the time of your life! Thanks so much for posting these tips. I ...Miriam,

Thanks so much for posting these tips. I am going to the FGS conference (my first land conference) in Knoxville in August, and I have no idea what to expect. I'm glad you mentioned getting to class early. I hadn't thought of that. I'm also glad to hear I'm not the only one who feels a bit guilty about going. I am not a wife or mother, but I am moving this week to North Carolina from Louisiana, and I already have to take off a week for that and another week in September when my sister has her baby. However, we only live once, right? It's hard to pass up since it will only be 5 hours from my new home in NC.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10613226474582263185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38696983.post-64401038729919060282010-06-24T17:44:43.026-07:002010-06-24T17:44:43.026-07:00Michelle, you are welcome!

But if I don't do it for a conference that is sort of close (TN from VA - not bad) and is sponsored by two states of major research interest for me, then when would I go? Good advice on getting to presentations early and on balancing socializing with education and other events in a way that will be enjoyable.Greta Koehlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05429623811794360612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38696983.post-87202623924976878292010-06-24T15:46:06.107-07:002010-06-24T15:46:06.107-07:00I have enjoyed every single one of your posts abou...I have enjoyed every single one of your posts about Jamboree.
